Compulab introduces EdgeAI ORN, a next-generation Nvidia Jetson Orin™ Edge AI computer for vision-centric industrial applications
August 7, 2025 – Compulab, a global leader in embedded and edge computing solutions, announces the launch of EdgeAI ORN, a rugged and compact industrial Edge AI computer purpose‑built for demanding vision‑centric applications.
Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin NX and Orin Nano modules, EdgeAI‑ORN delivers up to 157 TOPS of AI performance and is engineered for reliable deployment in real‑world edge environments.
AI-driven, vision-centric, and ready for harsh environments
EdgeAI ORN is designed for high-throughput, vision-intensive workloads at the edge, such as smart traffic management, industrial visual inspection, autonomous machines, retail analytics, and UAV surveillance.
Key features include:
- 4 x 2.5GbE PoE ports for high bandwidth camera input
- 4 x GMSL2 / FPD Link IV with Power over Coax for automotive and robotics cameras
- 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) for USB cameras
- MIPI CSI camera support, HDMI 2.1, isolated serial, GPIO, and CAN interfaces
- Rugged fanless design, MIL STD 810G, 25 °C to 75 °C operating range, 9 – 36V DC input
- Secure connectivity with TPM 2.0, optional LTE/5G, Wi Fi/BT
- Out-of-band (OOB) management for remote monitoring, diagnostics, and recovery
