Allxon OOB management – Enhancing reliability and operational continuity

EdgeAI-ORN can be equipped with the Allxon OOB Enabler-Bolt, an out‑of‑band management module, as a powerful option that elevates reliability and operational control.

Through a dedicated management channel, the Allxon OOB Enabler-Bolt module enables remote power cycling, system recovery, and diagnostics even when the main operating system is unresponsive. This means:

  • Swift recovery during critical failures without needing on‑site intervention
  • Reduced downtime and operational costs thanks to proactive monitoring
  • Enhanced security and compliance by supporting remote updates and controlled access
  • Improved sustainability by cutting down on maintenance trips and energy use

By integrating this proven OOB solution directly into the EdgeAI‑ORN platform, you gain a single, unified device that combines advanced AI computing with best‑in‑class remote management capabilities significantly strengthening your overall edge deployment strategy.

Enhanced heat dissipation with active air flow

For applications that push the Jetson module to its full AI capability (up to 40W), EdgeAI‑ORN supports an optional external fan. This add‑on significantly enhances heat dissipation, ensuring stable operation and sustained peak performance even under the most demanding workloads.

Passive heat dissipation

EdgeAI-ORN employs a full-coverage heatsink design that extends across the top and sides. This expansive thermal interface delivers outstanding heat dissipation, enabling quiet, maintenance‑free operation without compromising AI performance.

Active heat dissipation

Designed with flexibility in mind, EdgeAI‑ORN offers an active cooling configuration featuring an externally mounted fan. This enhanced thermal solution unlocks the module’s full potential – up to 40W of AI compute power – while ensuring thermal stability in demanding industrial and edge environments.
