Customer’s Product
Contentbox Pro is the hardware component used in the company’s Digital Signage solution. A player connected through LTS, LAN or WLAN with the Content Management System, the Contentbox Pro displays the configured playlists on an attached screen. Synchronization of the local content and the playlists happens automatically. The player has been designed for 24/7 operation and continues to work without problems even when internet connection is down.
C-LAB Product Used
fitlet2 as an embedded Linux system programmed in C++ to guarantee great performance.
The Customer
ConnVAS solutions enable the sharing of real-time, rich data between vehicles and infrastructure, building a safer, smarter, and more efficient transportation environment. Preparing the infrastructure of today for the connectivity of tomorrow by partnering with infrastructure companies, ConnVas connects vehicles to their surroundings, moving toward an autonomous future.
Customer’s Product
MEGIC – Multi Edge Generic Infrastructure Computer. An all-in-one adaptive detector, the MEGIC provides a wide variety of optional traffic safety and enhancement solutions in a single box. Able to receive a wide variety of sensors as inputs, it uses cameras, radars, Lidars, etc. to analyse traffic behaviour and drive different triggers accordingly to enable for example intelligent crosswalks and junctions where traffic lights can be affected by speeding vehicles.
C-LAB’s Product Used
Tensor-I22 with Hailo-8 as an Edge-AI computer enabling the detection of different objects in configurable polygons, supporting multiple detection areas and object types in parallel.
The Customer
NASA is the federal agency of the United States Government tasked with studying Earth science including climate, our Sun, the solar system and the larger universe. NASA explores the unknown in air and space, innovates for the benefit of humanity, and inspires the world through discovery.
Customer’s Product
The Perseverance Rover Imaging System is a next-generation engineering camera imaging system that represents an upgrade over previous Mars rover missions. The system uses an array of cameras and microphones to assist in the rover’s mission of collecting samples of surface material on Mars. The upgraded system is designed to improve the operational capabilities of the rover with an emphasis on drive planning, robotic arm operation, instrument operations, sample caching activities, and documentation of key events during entry, descent, and landing (EDL).
C-LAB’s Product Used
A COMEX-IE38 module gathers and processes the information obtained by the cameras. Not specially designed for NASA, the off-the-shelf COM Express module is a central element in the enhanced mission capabilities of Perseverance.
The Customer
Visionix creates intelligent diagnostic, screening and refraction lab equipment for eye care professionals. Providing patients worldwide with better access to eye health resources, Visionix deeply believes that thorough research and understanding of the existing challenges, and innovation through multimodal technology, automation, miniaturization and AI is key to unlocking the potential of eye care professionals to best serve their patients.
Customer’s Product
VX BOX is a communication interface that allows the user to share data between the Visionix instruments themselves and with outside systems by creating a WiFi network dedicated to the data sharing. Integrating the full screening and diagnostic chain into the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software, and acting as a bridge through to the Practice network, diagnostic devices and chart displays can be connected to the VX BOX with ease.
C-LAB’s Product Used
fitlet2 utilises LAN for importing/exporting data, sharing XML files and enabling conversion to PDF for reports, printable on the customer network.
The Customer
Light:Guard GmbH seeks to reduce light pollution and energy emissions using a smart detection system to influence the blinking warning lights atop wind turbines.
Providing Aircraft Detection Lighting Systems (ADLS), Light:Guard has over 3500 turbines under contract, ensuring that the lights only operate when an aircraft is in the vicinity.
Customer’s Product
LCU-T (Light Control Unit) monitors the airspace around a wind farm and receives the transponder signals all aircraft must emit for identification. Using the speed, coordinates and altitude data, the LCU-T initiates the illumination of the turbines when an aircraft approaches the wind farm. This leads to significantly reduced light pollution, with lights remaining off for up to 97% of the time in one study despite high levels of aircraft activity in the area.
C-LAB’s Product Used
fitlet3 receives continuous data from all receivers at once achieving better signal quality and network coverage than each individual receiver would by itself.
The Customer
NETCOR GmbH focuses on the analysis and visualization of IT performance in its various forms. Assessing the quality of IT and its influence on business processes, NETCOR is a market leader in this specific area and provides a pragmatic approach to achieve the greatest possible benefit for a company in an efficient manner.
Customer’s Product
GeNiJack 302 assumes the role of a user for active tests in the network.
Managed centrally by the company’s own software, the GeNiJacks are deployed into the network to deliver end-to-end active performance monitoring and analysis of the network traffic. Performance metrics are continually monitored and in the case that pre-defined thresholds are exceeded, an alarm is generated for early problem detection.
C-LAB’s Product Used
fitlet2 is the hardware endpoint that captures the data packets and validates the analysis.
The Customer
IACT fleetsystems provide services for company vehicles, focusing on fueling and maintenance. Founded in 1972 they have 50 years of experience developing fuel registration systems, mastering this specialist profession.
Customer’s Product
I.R.I.S. (Intelligent Registration and Information System), ensures that the fuel pump is only released after a driver has registered with a card, tag, and/or pin code. Using tank registration software, the system is designed to monitor and record the amount of fuel, and the identity of the vehicle that is being supplied. Using IACT’s web application, the end user can manage access to their installation and analyse the data.
C-LAB’s Product Used
fitlet2 with Java application running on Linux with one of the network ports as a DHCP server. With the DHCP server, a local network is created by which the system can be easily expanded.
